CAMP FEST 2023

A weekend of socializing with friends old and new, hiking & learning new skills!

Friday, March 3 - Sunday, March 5
Chicot State Park – Group Camp

Early Bird - $30 if paid by February 18

($35 after February 18)
Children 12 and under - $5
>Senior Discount (65+) - $25<
Camp Fest is for Current Members Only

LODGING OPTIONS
Dormitories with bunk beds and showers – included in Camp Fest fee - must be reserved
Primitive Camping Area – included in Camp Fest fee - must be reserved

Space is limited for both dormitories and primitive camping area!
Traditional Camp Sites – reservations must be made through the park website
Glamping - reservations must be made through the park website
Cabins – reservations must be made through the park website

FOOD
Saturday night: pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad - furnished by LHC
Sunday morning: pancakes prepared by the LHC Pancake Crew
Members are responsible for all other meals/snacks and beverages. Please make arrangements
for food/beverages requiring refrigeration, as space is not available for personal items in
the Group Camp kitchen.

Afternoon Hike
FIRST ANNUAL LHC HIKING-THEMED DESSERT CONTEST!!!! To participate, bring a
prepared hiking-themed dessert. (Onsite kitchen unavailable.) After the winner is
announced, desserts will be served with dinner.

Canoeing – must pre-register – $12 per person – can also bring your own canoe/kayak
Guided Arboretum Hike

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
*Bring enough water/sports drinks/etc. to stay hydrated.
*State Park policy requires pets to be always on a leash (no longer than 6 feet). No pets in buildings.
*At gate, let park attendant know you are there to attend Camp Fest located at the GROUP CAMP.
*Kitchen access limited to kitchen crew volunteers.
*Chicot State Park prohibits tents, hammocks, and RVs of any size at the Group Camp area.
*USED GEAR SALE!! Please pre-label gear with your name, contact information and asking price.
